Those who meet one of the following conditions can directly apply for a foreigner's work permit in China within the country, and should submit all application materials in accordance with the "Notice of Foreigners' Work Permit Application" and the "Foreigners' Work Permit Application":

(1) Foreign high-end talents who have entered the country with other visas or valid residence permits (Class A);

(2) Foreigners working in China change employers, but their job position (occupation) remains unchanged and their work residence permit is valid;

(3) Foreign spouses or children of Chinese citizens, spouses or children of foreigners who permanently reside or work in China, holding valid visas or residence permits within their validity period;

(4) Compliant with relevant preferential policies of free trade zones and comprehensive innovation and reform pilot zones;

(5) Employers who meet the relevant preferential policies for multinational corporations' headquarters in China;

(6) Personnel turnover within enterprise groups;

(7) Implementing intergovernmental agreements or protocols;

(8) Representative personnel of Chinese institutions who have lawfully entered China with work visas; Foreigners who have obtained a work permit for working in China for less than 90 days and have been lawfully employed by domestic employers during their stay in China;

(9) Other approval agencies have determined that it meets the conditions.

The internal mobility of personnel in the headquarters and enterprise groups of multinational corporations in China refers to the mobility of senior management personnel and professional technical personnel hired by the headquarters or enterprise groups in the same positions between the regional headquarters and its wholly-owned or joint venture subsidiaries or subsidiaries that have been registered with the licensing decision-making authority (including transfer to new positions or promotion from professional positions to administrative management positions).

After canceling the original work permit, a new work permit application should be submitted within 30 days from the date of cancellation.
