In this case, in order to prove whether one's education is recognized by China, it is necessary to conduct education certification. So, how should we operate education certification specifically? The following are three authentication methods.

1.Handling by embassies abroad

The first method is to authenticate through the embassy or consulate of China in the country where the degree certificate is issued. However, it should be noted that the processing process, required materials, fees, and time vary from country to country. It is recommended to confirm the relevant details with the local embassy in advance.

The specific process is as follows: Firstly, the materials need to be submitted to the local notary for notarization (signed and stamped by the notary); Then submit for provincial government certification (provincial government certification requires the signature of a notary public to be genuine and valid); Finally, it is necessary to go to the Chinese consulate in the location for authentication (the authentication of the consulate requires the seal of the provincial government to be authentic and valid).

2. Handling by the Embassy in China

For foreigners currently in China, another authentication method is to directly go to the embassy in China of the country where the degree was obtained for authentication. However, it should be noted that not all countries have certification services at their embassies and consulates in China and require prior confirmation with the local embassy.

3. Certification by the Ministry of Education

For foreigners in third countries (neither the country where the degree was obtained nor China), they can choose to obtain certification through the China Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center. However, it should also be noted that not all overseas schools support this certification method, and the actual certification situation should prevail.

What are the required materials for applying for the Ministry of Education's degree certification?

For foreigners applying for education certification from the Ministry of Education, the following four materials must be prepared:

Diploma certificate: A foreign degree certificate or higher education diploma that requires certification; The uploaded file format is PDF format and should not exceed 5M.

Passport/visa/pass/ID card: passport (pass) and visa (endorsement) held during study abroad; The upload file format is JPG format, and each file must not exceed 1M.

ID photo: One recent standard ID photo of myself, with no limit on background color. The upload file format is JPG format and should not exceed 1M.

Authorization statement: Fill in and sign according to the requirements of the retention center.
