There is new change in the policy of foreign doctors applying for Chinese Green Card in Shenzhen! The application requirements have been fully opened from only foreign Chinese doctors to all foreigners with doctoral degrees. The application materials have also undergone three minor modifications in comparison to previous requirements. Please check the content marked in red letters

 

Conditions:

Foreigner with a doctoral degree or above and a work type residence permit working in a Shenzhen enterprise can apply for a permanent residence in Shenzhen. Spouse and minor children can apply together.

 

Required Documents

 

1. Application Form

Fill in the "Application form for permanent residence of foreigners in China (Employment and their spouses and children) in triplicate (The form can be collected in Shenzhen Exit-Entry Administration). The application form must be completed with a black pen or signature pen, and the applicant shall personally sign and submit the original;

At the same time, submit four recent two-inch photos with white background (specification: 48 × 33 mm) and “Foreigner Permanent Residence ID Digital Photo Receipt of Guangdong Province”;

2.Submit original and copies of valid passport and visa

The photo page of the passport must be translated into Chinese by a qualified translation company; 

3.Health Certificate

Health certificate issued by Shenzhen Port Hospital (Valid for six months from the date of issuance);

4.Non-criminal Record Certificate

Non-criminal Record Certificate issued by the country of nationality. Non-criminal Record Certificate issued within 6 months from application date and must be authenticated by the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad or Apostille. (Need to submit for applicants more than 18 years old). Non-criminal Record certificate must be issued by relevant national-level competent authority. Chinese translation by a translation company is needed. China's Non-criminal Record Certificate is also needed if available;

5.Resume

The resume of the applicant should be from the age of 18 to the present and be continuous between the year and month. The resume must provide detailed information on personal basic information, personal experience, main sources of family income, and annual income;

6.Doctoral Degree certificate and the Authentication Certificate

If the diploma certificate was issued by an overseas educational institution, then Foreign academic degree certification issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCES) must also be provided;

7.Employment certificate

The original employment certificate issued by the current company(describe the position, employment duration and other basic information);

8.Individual Income Tax Certificate

Recent one year. Provided the actual working period if you have worked for less than one year;

9.Work permit card the information page

Scan the QR code on the card and print the information page out. The information on the card relating to the employer, position and personal information shall be consistent with the employment certificate and other relevant certificate, etc;

10.The registration certificate of the company

A copy of the business license,State institutional legal entity certificate, etc. and the stamped annual inspection certificate for the current year (print on “Commercial Entity Registration and Filing Information Query Form “on the amr.sz.gov.cn website ShenZhen’s company.); if the company is a foreign-invested enterprise, the applicant must submit the the certificate of approval of foreign-invested enterprise or foreign-invested enterprise to set-up a filing receipt, foreign-invested enterprise to change the filing receipt. Copies of the above materials must be stamped with the official seal;

11.Information about the applicant’s immediate family members

Fill in all the immediate relatives:parents, spouse, children, siblings.The situation of immediate relatives must be explained in details: kinship, name, gender, date of birth, nationality, valid certificate and identification numbers, current employer and position or current education status and current residence;

12.Information Collection Form 

Collected at the acceptance window;

13.Other supporting materials that the Public Security Bureau needs.

 

Spouse can apply together:

Besides point1 to 5, spouse must provide following documents:

6. Marriage certificate or notarized proof of marital relationship; documents issued abroad shall be certified by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate or Apostille in that country, and the time of issuance shall be within six months prior to the date of acceptance;

7.Spouse’s valid passport and Permanent

Resident ID card; if spouse applies at the same time, no need to submit.

Minor children can apply together:

Besides point 1  to 3 , minor children must provide following documents:

4.Birth certificate or proof of paternity relationship 

Documents issued abroad must be certified by the Chinese Embassy or Apostille in the home country;

5.Proof of parents' marital relationship

Documents issued abroad must be certified by the Chinese Embassy or Apostille in the host country;

6. Proof of identity of both parents

Foreign parents must submit a valid passport and one parent's Permanent Resident ID Card; those who apply at the same time as their parents do not need to submit.If one parent has Chinese nationality, submit his/her ID card, family register and the page of the spouse's family register, a Chinese passport and a certificate of permanent residence abroad (which must be translated by a translation company and must have been obtained before the applicant's birth;

7.Parents’ resumes. 

The resume should be from the age of 18 to present and be continuous between the year and month.
